Sands China’s Community Revitalization Programme for Rua das Estalagens sees 24 enterprises selected to drive district revitalization

The Programme comprises two key initiatives: the Entrepreneurship Recruitment Programme 2.0 for Rua das Estalagens and the newly introduced Shop Rebranding Programme. After a rigorous three-round evaluation process, 24 outstanding projects were selected this year. In April this year, Sands China launched the Sands China Community Revitalization Programme for Rua

“2026 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon” to be held on 6 December

Organized by the Sports Bureau, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG), and the General Association of Athletics of Macau (AGAM), the “2026 Galaxy Entertainment Macao International Marathon” will take place on 6 December (Sunday). The Organizing Committee previously held a press conference to announce the event details. Attending guests included Ms. Leong Wai Man, President of the Sports Bureau; Mr. Philip Cheng, Director of GEG; and Mr. Ng Iok Tong, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of AGAM; among others.

Melco’s Morpheus becomes Macau’s first hotel to receive Three MICHELIN Keys

Melco Resorts & Entertainment announces that Morpheus at City of Dreams has been awarded Three MICHELIN Keys in the MICHELIN Guide’s 2026 global hotel selection, becoming the first hotel in Macau to receive the distinction. Morpheus was promoted from Two Keys, which it held in the 2025 selection.

Oktoberfest Macau at MGM will return to MGM COTAI for 12 days from October 28 to November 8, 2026, inviting residents and visitors to welcome the fall season over a freshly poured beer and enjoy an authentic Oktoberfest experience.

GEG donates MOP 1 million to UTMDF to promote high-quality development

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) donated MOP 1 million to the Macao University of Tourism Development Foundation (UTMDF) to support UTM’s academic development and institutional advancement. The donation will be used to support the university’s academic development, enhance teaching and research quality, and foster international cooperation, contributing to UTM’s high-quality development.
