To promote in-depth academic and cultural exchanges between Macau and the international community, and to create an international exchange platform, Wynn and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) have joined forces to organize the 10-day “Wynn X UNLV Student Exchange Programme 2025”.
As an internationally renowned institution of higher education, UNLV is committed to cultivating professionals with a global perspective. This exchange program will invite 12 students to visit Macau and participate in a series of activities meticulously designed by the Wynn Academy to deepen their cross-cultural understanding and international outlook. The program includes executive roundtable discussions, comprehensive resort operations workshops, intangible cultural heritage culinary workshops and guided tours of UNESCO World Heritage sites, providing students with practical insights and valuable experience for their future careers in the integrated resort industry.
Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited, said Wynn is always dedicated to the growth and learning of young people and has held diverse educational activities to nurture talent for the future development of Macau.
“This 10-day program has been thoughtfully designed to provide UNLV students with valuable opportunities for practical experience and insights into the hospitality industry in Macau,” she said.
UNLV Professor Dr Tony Henthorne added, “This partnership with Wynn Macau represents an incredible opportunity for UNLV students to experience a different culture, be exposed to new languages and grow personally and professionally.”
Through these practical and interactive learning opportunities, students will gain valuable experience and further enhance their career competitiveness in a globalized environment. The program not only integrates academia and practice but also builds a bridge for cultural exchange, promoting international understanding and cooperation while showcasing Macau’s unique charm as a global cultural hub.
