This summer, Wynn once again participated in the “Summer Internship Program 2025” and the “Practical experience plan before entering the job market ‘Making the Dream Come True’” initiative.

From July to August, it provided diverse workplace internship opportunities for local students, assisting them in exploring career paths while enhancing their practical skills and overall competence.

Summer Internship Program 2025

DSEDJ has collaborated with 56 public and private organizations across Macau to launch the “Summer Internship Program 2025”, which commenced on 7 July. Concurrently, the Activities Centre of Bairro do Hipódromo under DSEDJ purview organized the “Practical experience plan before entering the job market ‘Making the Dream Come True’” initiative from July to August. This initiative enabled secondary school students to engage in two to three weeks of unpaid practical placements within the workplace, experiencing the operations and culture of various industries.

Focus on “experiential learning” youth development approach
As a key participant in the corporate sector, Wynn this year invited 21 local senior high school and tertiary students participating in the program to undertake internships across multiple hotel operational departments. These encompassed areas including Human Resources, Front Office, Exhibition Center, Food & Beverage, and Community and Government Relations.

The students were further assigned to participate in large-scale restaurant operations at Gourmet Pavilion, honing core competencies such as work ethic, communication skills and team collaboration through daily practical tasks, thereby comprehensively enhancing their workplace readiness.

Activities included department tours, face-to-face exchanges with young management executives and practical job shadowing experiences. Participants not only deepened their understanding of the tourism and leisure industry’s significance, but the event further showcased Wynn’s workplace culture, strengthening young peoples’ interest in and sense of belonging to the sector.
