The annual “hush! Beach Concerts” took place this year in collaboration with “Urban Sports Wellfest 2025”, creating an exciting fusion of music and sports. The event featured marathon-style multi-stage performances together with outdoor fitness experiences, offering Macau a vibrant autumn celebration that blended island vibes and Asian cultural energy.
Co-organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau and MGM, with support from the Municipal Affairs Bureau, the Marine and Water Bureau, and the Macao Government Tourism Office, the “hush! Beach Concerts x Urban Sports Wellfest 2025” was held on 18 to 19 October at Hac Sa Beach and Temporary Green and Leisure Area.
Celebrating its 20th edition, the “hush! Beach Concerts” featured nearly 40 local bands, joined by 10 overseas acts, including mainland China’s SUMMERWARZ, South Korean’s music group Balming Tiger and bassist H.J. Freaks, as well as Japan’s legendary rapper Shing02 and rock band muque.
For the “Urban Sports Wellfest”, over 30 renowned Asian trainers participated, including Hong Kong dance mentor FatBoy@ERROR, and the champion of “Physical: 100 Season 2” and a Korean CrossFit star Amotti. Across two days, there were more than 40 fitness and dance sessions, offering both beginners and experienced athletes a chance to push their limits.
This year has also seen the Macao SAR Government has designated “East-West Encounter, Asia in Harmony” as the theme for the “Culture City of East Asia – Macao, China” program. The event brought together music bands and fitness coaches from mainland China, Japan and South Korea for performances and workshops. Over the course of two days, audiences enjoyed continuous programs from morning to night, including Sup Yoga and musical family parade, showcasing Macau’s multicultural essence and urban vitality.
