The MGM Macau Tennis Masters returns to Macau this year, taking place after Christmas. Two women’s tennis legends, Li Na and Conchita Martínez, will lead the teams to showcase a series of thrilling matches.
The “2025 MGM Macau Tennis Masters” will take place at the Macao Forum from 27 to 28 December 2025. This year’s event will focus on two vibrant celebration themes: “Play. Celebrate. Repeat.” and “Women Power.”
The first theme will be brought to life through engaging fan zones and off-court experiences, while the second theme will feature special sessions celebrating women throughout the tournament.
A unique feature of this year’s tournament is the inaugural leadership of the two female tennis legends and Grand Slam champions in Li and Martínez while also bringing together a mix of rising stars and renowned players.
These include rising star Mirra Andreeva, Filipina prodigy Alexandra Eala, Chinese player Shang Juncheng – who won his first ATP title on home soil in 2024 – Jack Draper who reached a career-high world No. 4 ranking this year, and Jakub Menšík, who won his first ATP title at the Miami Open.
The two-day team event will feature multiple best-of-three-set matches, with the deciding set played as a championship tiebreak. Day one includes the “Captain’s Challenge”, two men’s singles matches and one mixed doubles match. Day two will see another “Captain’s Challenge” along with one women’s singles match, two men’s singles matches and the final awards ceremony.
The MGM Macau Tennis Masters was launched in 2023 through a partnership between MGM and MARI Group and with the support of the Sports Bureau of Macao SAR Government, the Macao Government Tourism Office and the Macau Tennis Association.
