As part of its commitment to public welfare and actively participating in charitable initiatives, Melco encouraged its colleagues and their family members to join the “Walk for a Million” and donated MOP 700,000 to its organizer, the Charity Fund from the Readers of Macao Daily News. Melco also supported the Macau Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society’s annual fundraising campaign with a donation of MOP 700,000.

Now in its 42nd year, the “Walk for a Million” event saw a strong turnout from Melco representatives, collectively showcasing the Macanese spirit of harmony and unity through active community engagement.

This follows the MOP 700,000 donation to the Charity Fund to support this year’s event, sharing care and encouragement for underprivileged and vulnerable groups in Macau.

The separate MOP700,000 donation to the Macau Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society is in support of the organization’s meaningful initiatives aimed at improving the livelihood of the community’s most vulnerable members. The funds are designated to support Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society’s social welfare programs and community poverty alleviation services.
A donation presentation ceremony was held at Morpheus, City of Dreams, where Melco Chairman and CEO Lawrence Ho greeted members of the Tung Sin Tong delegation, including José Chui Sai Pang, Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mok Chi Wai and Kevin Ho, Vice Chairmen of the Board of Directors; and Charles Choy and Jeffrey Ho, Directors.
