For the marquee honor “Annual Influential Works,” the selection was primarily based on Yuewen’s long-established monthly ticket system – widely recognized in the online literature community. Covering genres such as suspense, Xianxia and realism, these titles enjoy strong popularity online and show considerable adaptation potential.

Among the 12 titles selected for the “Most Popular Adapted IP of the Year,” TV and film dramas A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality, In the name of Blossom, No Pain No Gain, The Glory and Coroner’s Diary sparked major viewing buzz. Animated works including A Record of a Mortal’s Journey to Immortality: Return To Tiannan, Lord of the Mysteries, Renegade Immortal, The Outcast 6 and Way of Choices dominated the trending charts.

The game “Douluo Continent: Soul Hunting World” surpassed RMB 300 million in revenue in its first month after launch, while the audio title Guardians of the Dafeng became the first audio drama across the internet to exceed 10 billion plays – highlighting the cross-media impact of Yuewen’s IP ecosystem.

The “Outstanding Author of the Year” honor went to Yuewen Platinum Author Yuan Tong. A leading voice in science fiction, Tong’s representative work Deep Sea Embers previously received China’s science-fiction Galaxy Award, and its animation adaptation has officially been launched – positioning it as a strong contender for the next breakout IP.

The gala also featured several headline announcements. Popular domestic animation Ling Cage officially announced that its first animated feature film is coming, and the title also received the honor of “Most Anticipated Animated Feature Film of the Year.”

In addition, the “Global Cross-Industry Influential IP” honor was awarded to Lord of the Mysteries, recognizing its global breakthrough through cross-industry collaboration in book publishing and its tie-in with Honor of Kings. The work has been published in multiple languages across dozens of countries and regions, becoming an important vehicle for cultural export.

To extend the festival’s impact beyond venues and across the city, MGM joined hands with Yuewen to launch the “Yuewen IP Hopping Adventure”, bringing IP-themed experiences into Macau’s neighborhoods. The program connects World Heritage sites, photo-worthy landmarks in the old town and local shops. Through interactive designs such as collecting stamps via consumption and redeeming IP-themed cultural-creative gifts, the campaign encourages cross-district exploration and longer stays, boosting community foot traffic and spending – turning “content” directly into tourism routes and community economy.
