SJM team members visit 2026 “National Security Education Exhibition”

  • SJM organized around 300 team members to visit the 2026 “National Security Education Exhibition.”
  • The initiative aims to enhance national security awareness and strengthen the team’s sense of mission and responsibility.

Marking the 11th National Security Education Day, SJM Resorts, S.A. arranged for around 300 team members this year, including more than 80 young management trainees and students from the “Forge My Own Journey” Talent Development Programme, to visit the 2026 “National Security Education Exhibition.” The initiative aimed to deepen their understanding of the importance of national security, highlight Macau’s achievements in safeguarding it and strengthen the team’s sense of responsibility.

On the exhibition’s first public day, SJM arranged a team visit where Director and Chairman of the SJM Staff Welfare Consultative Committee Angela Leong, Secretary-General Rui Cunha and executives toured with docent guidance to gain deeper insights into the strategic significance and impact of national security.

Daisy Ho, Managing Director of SJM, said, “National security is the foundation of social stability and the well-being of people across the nation, including Macau. As this year marks the inaugural year of both the national 15th Five-Year Plan and the formulation of Macau’s Third Five-Year Plan, it holds special significance. Through visits to the National Security Education Exhibition, our team members can gain a deeper understanding of the holistic national security concept and the importance of coordinating development and security under ‘One Country, Two Systems.’

“Upholding our core values of ‘Love for the Motherland, Love for Macau,’ SJM will continue to strengthen national security and national education, support the Macao SAR Government in safeguarding national security and contribute to Macau’s long-term stability and deeper integration into national development.”

As Macau’s first integrated resort to launch patriotic education and red tourism for employees, SJM has long supported the Macao SAR Government and the Liaison Office. Key initiatives include the 10th “Jiangxi Jinggangshan Patriotic Education Programme” from 20 to 24 April and the “My Motherland GBA Tour – Zhongshan Edition” on 29 April.
