Storytelling powerhouse Disney is making a splash at Melco Resorts & Entertainment’s Studio City from 19 June to 1 November, as the integrated resort extends the highly acclaimed “Disney Palette of Happiness” experience to its Water Park.
This seasonal expansion, perfectly timed for the summer holidays, enriches Macau’s “Tourism+” offerings and reinforces the city’s status as a “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.”
The Disney Palette of Happiness made its debut in late April, with Studio City partnering with Disney to launch this year’s flagship experience, starting right at the door of the resort. At its Northeast Entrance, a towering seven-meter Mickey Mouse welcomes guests by waving a magical rainbow paintbrush, accompanied by the playful duo Chip ‘n’ Dale.
The story continues at the “Magical Jungle Lodge,” where at the Level 1 Main Entrance Lobby, a lush fairy-tale hideaway recreates timeless encounters with beloved characters. Beloved favorites Mickey and Minnie, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, and Snow White come together to create a dreamlike atmosphere, bringing stories to life.
At Times Square on Level 1, guests are invited to explore the enchanting “Isle of Wonder,” stepping on board “Donald’s Adventure Boat” to take part in a variety of interactive games to win delightful, themed prizes.
At the LRT Entrance on Level 1, the whimsical “Dreamy Rainbow Town” unfolds as giant donuts and cloud-kissed rainbows create a playful, photo-ready space brimming with childlike wonder. Within this vibrant setting, guests encounter beloved characters from Zootopia, including Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps, who roam through the colorful scene and bring energy and charm to the experience.

Extending the fun, Studio City then invites guests to dive into “Disney Palette of Happiness – Splashing Fun at Water Park,” an immersive aquatic experience designed exclusively for summer.
At the hotel guest entrance, astronaut Mickey greets visitors, accompanied by themed popsicles inspired by Mickey, Donald, and Daisy, offering refreshing treats and picture-perfect moments.
At the outdoor public entrance, towering figures of Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zurg set the stage for a thrilling space showdown, encouraging guests to join the action with water blasters.
On the White Sand Beach, Stitch and the Little Green Men engage in a playful color duel, with thousands of floating blue and green balls drifting across the Lazy River, evoking childlike wonder.
Indoors, at the Wave Pool in “Space Water World,” Donald Duck in astronaut attire pilots his rocket, inviting guests to embark on a cosmic aquatic adventure.
