Melco Resorts & Entertainment has achieved outstanding success at the prestigious 6th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Vocational Skills Competition. In representing Macau, four Melco colleagues secured top honors by winning Champion titles across key elite culinary and service categories. With teams from 11 GBA cities joining the competition, the Melco team successfully demonstrated the exceptional capabilities of Macau’s hospitality talent.
The achievements underline Melco’s continued commitment to local talent development, providing lifelong learning opportunities for colleagues and supporting their participation in international and regional competitions to benchmark skills and elevate standards.
The highly competitive event took place in Macau at Studio City recently, bringing together top industry professionals from across the GBA. Melco’s talent dominated the hospitality segments, sweeping the highest spots in the Western Service category, as well as the specialized Pastry: Chocolate Cake category.
In the Western Service category, Vincent Chan and Anne To won First Prize, while in the Pastry category, Ann Wong and Winnie Im also won First Prize. Both Wong and Im are graduates of the Company’s 12-month signature “Foundation Acceleration Program” (FAP).
