Melco Resorts & Entertainment and the Women’s General Association of Macau (Women’s Association) recently premiered the “Invisible Bullying” campus theater production under the “Feel Better Mental Wellness Program” at Fu Luen School.

Attended by approximately 250 teachers and students, the event used immersive theatrical performances to raise public awareness of hidden bullying in schools and promote mental health education among young people.

Launched in 2021, The “Feel Better Mental Wellness Program” is now in its sixth year. This year’s program comprises five projects: including no less than 200 individual psychological support sessions, 12 mental health promotion workshops, 6 parenting workshops, and 4 film sharing sessions.

Furthermore, as a key focus project, the “Invisible Bullying” school theater tour will offer 11 performances, providing ongoing and diverse mental health resources for Macau residents, comprehensively addressing the needs of different groups, and contributing to society’s growing focus on mental wellness.

Highlighting the importance of addressing mental wellness amongst the younger generation, they hoped that through the vivid expression of drama, students could be guided to understand the harm caused by bullying and establish positive mental health concepts. They also hoped to help students recognize the potential risks of bullying at school, and to learn safe and feasible self-protection and help-seeking methods.
