The 4th New Era International TV Festival, co-organized by Wynn and SAIC Volkswagen, successfully held its Ammolite Awards Presentation Ceremony at Wynn Palace in late April.
The New Era International TV Festival Ammolite Awards is a TV series judging event jointly organized by Hong Kong and Macau media. This year’s awards event honors the best Chinese-language TV series of 2023 that have been broadcast broadcast on TV and online across mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. Judging for the Ammolite Awards takes place in Macau, renowned for its unique blend of East-West cultures.
To officially kick off the Awards Ceremony, the 4th China Culture Power Forum also launched on the same day at Wynn Palace. The forum discussed embracing the era of AI, strengthening the film industry and the impact of upcoming generative AI models such as AI video generator Sora on the film and TV industry. Following the forum, the TV industry’s best producers, directors and actors from mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau graced the Awards Ceremony red carpet.
Linda Chen, President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Wynn Macau, stated in her speech that Wynn was thrilled to co-organize the TV Festival, contributing to the meticulous planning and preparation of a stylish, vibrant, safe, exciting, open and integrated awards ceremony.
She emphasized Wynn’s ongoing commitment to collaborating closely with the government and businesses to support Macau’s diversification strategy, adding that the company aims to actively enrich Macau as “One Center, One Platform, One Base” and assist the SAR Government in transforming Macau into a “City of Performing Arts” and a “City of Sports”.
