A delegation of 30 young participants from Wynn Macau embarked on the “2024 Wynn Macau Youth Jiangxi National Awareness and Rural Revitalization Experience Tour”, visiting Nanchang, Xiushui and Lushan in Jiangxi Province. The tour was led by Linda Chen, President of the Wynn Care Foundation and Standing Committee member of the Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
Wynn has organized youth delegations to participate in the “Jiangxi-Hong Kong-Macao-Taiwan Youth Exchange Program” for the past two years. Wynn noted that this year’s experience tour, as part of the 2024 program, not only deepened the participants’ understanding of the history of China and Jiangxi but also allowed them to witness the solid achievements of rural revitalization efforts.
During their visit, the Wynn Macau youth delegation toured several key rural revitalization projects, including Aoyuan Middle School, the Modern Agriculture Cloud Center, and a bean product processing plant in Zhanfang Village, Xiushui County. Funded with RMB 2 million from the Wynn Care Foundation in 2023, the plant is still under construction but progressing smoothly. The initiative aims to modernize Xigang’s traditional tofu-making craft into a professional food industry, promoting regional economic growth and supporting local farmers.
Wynn’s President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director Linda Chen highlighted that the tour encompassed essential themes like historical culture, rural revitalization, academic exchange and tourism. She encouraged more youth from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan to visit Jiangxi to experience China’s development firsthand and explore career opportunities. Chen urged the youth to seize this chance to broaden their perspectives, set ambitious goals, and work together toward realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
