  • The annual extravaganza was broadcast to the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, Singapore, Malaysia and more.

Organized by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) and presented by SJM Resorts, S.A. for the second consecutive year, the “TVB Awards Presentation 2024” took place in late January at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau.

As one of the most influential annual entertainment events in the Greater Bay Area, this year’s ceremony featured a total of 26 awards spanning Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area and Malaysia. The star-studded lineup included renowned actors such as Wayne Lai, Moses Chan, Nancy Wu, Kenneth Ma, Tavia Yeung, Ruco Chan, Shaun Tam, Rosina Lam, Katy Kung, Kelly Cheung, Samantha Ko, Elaine Yiu and David Chiang. The red carpet ceremony drew a large number of fans from the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia who traveled to Macau to cheer for their idols.

The awards ceremony was held at The Grand Hall and broadcast live on TVB Jade, while being simultaneously aired on multiple TV channels and online platforms, bringing real-time coverage to global Chinese communities, including those in Hong Kong, Macau, the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Malaysia.

To complement the event, SJM launched an exclusive “TVB Awards Presentation 2024 Package”, which sold out quickly due to high demand.

SJM said that hosting this annual entertainment extravaganza in Macau not only demonstrates the city’s capability to host large-scale international events but also highlights the synergistic impact of cultural and artistic initiatives. It further strengthens Macau’s reputation as a “City of Performing Arts” and a “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure” on the global stage.
