Oxfam’s annual charity event “Oxfam Rice Charity Sale 2025” will be held on 24 and 25 May with the full support of Bank of China Macau. The event aims to support the world’s poor smallholder farmers and calls for the community to pay attention to the impacts of climate change on the agricultural industry.

“Oxfam Rice Charity Sale 2025” will continue the theme of “Fight Climate Change, Empower Smallholder Farmers” and will be held in both Hong Kong and Macau. The Hong Kong sale will be held on 10, 11, 18 and 25 May, while the Macau sale will be held on 24 and 25 May.

Last year, Oxfam joined hands with Medialink Group to launch Oxfam Rice with the design of The Little Prince and limited edition embroidered bags. The event achieved remarkable results with overwhelming donations from participants and support from more than 600 volunteers.

This year, Oxfam continued its partnership with Medialink Group to launch the Oxfam Rice packs and gift sets featuring the popular classic British children’s book Mr. Men Little Miss on rice and luggage tag. The funds raised will be used to help the poor in the fight against climate change.

According to Oxfam, every pack of Oxfam Rice can support Oxfam’s poverty alleviation and development programs, which include supporting the poor to cope with climate change and achieve self-reliance.
