Wynn continues to promote the development of local young talent and actively provides professional skills training and career development platforms for recent graduates and local residents.
On 31 July, Wynn held a “Wynn New Talent GO 2025” ceremony at Wynn Palace. The ceremony included participants of the “Wynn Local Development Program 2025”, culinary apprentices who completed their training and young students participating in the Wynn internship program.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Chan Chon U and Chan Tze Wai, Deputy Directors of the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL); Lei Lai Keng, Head of the Employment Department of the DSAL; and senior management from Wynn.
During the ceremony, representatives from the DSAL and Wynn management jointly unveiled the program and presented souvenirs to the participants. Additionally, the 14 culinary apprentices who joined last year successfully completed their training and were officially promoted to junior chefs. They have been assigned to various restaurants within Wynn, becoming the latest generation of talent for Wynn’s five-star team.
Furthermore, the “Wynn Local Development Program 2025” was officially launched at the event. The program covers areas such as hotel management, catering and facilities management, and adopts a “Hire and Train” approach, with a duration of 12 to 24 months.
The Local Development Program has already recruited 29 participants in the first half of the year, including positions such as Deputy Manager of Housekeeping and Culinary Apprentices, providing local residents aspiring to work in the hotel and catering industry with systematic skills training to lay a solid foundation for their careers.
Wynn has also actively participated in the Macao SAR Government’s “youth internship program” and “pre-employment practical experience program” this year, providing internship and practical experience opportunities for 21 young students.
These initiatives aim to help them plan their career paths, encouraging secondary school students to explore vocational and technical fields, thereby enhancing their motivation and sense of achievement.
