Melco Resorts & Entertainment recently organized a series of skateboarding workshops for the community, inviting participants from Mong Ha Children & Youth Home, Macau Special Olympics and Melco Parent-Child to join exclusive skateboarding experience sessions at Studio City Sk8te Park. Held concurrently with the “2026 FISE: Battle of the Champions – Macau” and the “SONDAY SkateFest powered by adidas Skateboarding” at Studio City, the initiative aimed to provide local youth and their families with deeper exposure to skateboarding and its vibrant culture.

Over 50 beneficiaries, including children aged from 5 to 12 and their families, took part. Each session offered a learning and experience workshop taught by professional skateboarders, a DIY graffiti session for participants to create their own caps and t-shirts, and mini-games of skate bowling.

To further inspire the local community, Melco gifted entrance tickets to the “2026 FISE: Battle of the Champions‧Macau” to local students, families and persons with disabilities, in collaboration with Macao True Goodwill Friend Association, Macau I Can Too (IC2) Association, Fuhong Society of Macau, Macau Autism Association, Macao Leisure Industry Employees Home and Macao Borderless Youth Association. Melco Reach! team members and the company’s Parent-Child volunteers also received complimentary tickets to the event.

Akiko Takahashi, Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff to Melco Chairman & CEO, said, “In our commitment to nurturing young talent, we welcome the local community to experience the thrill of skateboarding. Through workshops and a world-class competition, we aim to provide a stimulating environment that encourages youth to pursue their passions and unlock their full potential, whilst also promoting the diversified development of Macau through the experience of wide-reaching sporting and cultural offerings.”
