Equal employment means giving everyone the same chance to pursue job opportunities regardless of characteristics such as age, cultural background, disability, gender, race or sexual orientation. In particular, Macau’s amended gaming law includes a provision to promote equal employment opportunities especially for the disabled and the rehabilitated. The Macau government sees vibrant and meaningful employment as an important avenue by which all people can integrate with society.
