2023 Q4: Welcome to our fourth edition

Welcome to the final quarterly publication of Macau CSR for 2023, our first year of publication. It has been quite a year! Since Macau re-opened to international travel in early January, we’ve seen the very strong recovery of business, travel and tourism which has allowed many companies to put significant energy into their charitable initiatives for the benefit of society. Our website, macaucsr.com, is now brimming with over 150 articles covering CSR initiatives in Macau.

The response to the work of Macau CSR in our first year has been very strong, and several more major companies in Macau have committed to supporting us in 2024 for our second year of media coverage. This has allowed us to increase our editorial resources and we are delighted to announce that we’ll be broadening our coverage next year to include CSR and economic diversification initiatives from more Macau enterprises.

Our audience of loyal followers continues to organically grow, with many influential people from various Macau organizations and government departments signing up at our website and receiving our quarterly print volumes. We thank all our readers for their ongoing support.

We also now have 10 Strategic Partners in place: BritCham Macao, Caritas Macau, France Macau Chamber of Commerce, Macao Community Youth Volunteers Development Association, Macau Fashion Design Industry Association, Macau Professional Speaking Association, Orbis Macau, Rui Cunha Foundation, Taipa Village Cultural Association and Youth Association of People. We thank them all for this support and look forward to adding more organizations to this list in 2024.

As the first and only truly independent media brand covering CSR and economic diversification in Macau, we are proud to continue supporting the charitable efforts of companies and organizations from all walks of life and look forward to bringing you even more important Macau CSR stories next year!
