GEG partners with CPTTM to launch new industry training model for SMEs

  • GEG launched the “GEG SME Series: Quality Enhancement Certification Program”.
  • The program aims to provide financial support to GEG’s qualified suppliers for completing international and local quality management training courses offered by CPTTM.

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) recently launched the “GEG SME Series: Quality Enhancement Certification Program” and signed a memorandum of understanding with the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) at the Galaxy International Convention Center, aiming to provide financial support to GEG’s qualified suppliers for completing international and local quality management training courses offered by CPTTM, as well as passing relevant certification assessments.

The program is designed to support GEG’s SME partners to participate in a range of certification training courses organized by CPTTM, tailored to their business nature and needs. These courses cover different industry sectors, including courses relating to the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) food safety management system, and a workshop on good manufacturing practices for small and medium sized food factories that aims to facilitate their application for the “M Mark” Macau Product Quality Certification. Upon completing the courses, participants can obtain local and international standard certification qualifications, thereby enhancing their service quality and brand trust, and supporting their future business expansion.

GEG recently invited Victoria Kuan, Director General of CPTTM, and Peter Chow, Senior Vice President of Procurement and Warehousing of GEG, to sign the memorandum of understanding on behalf of both parties.

In his speech, Chow stated that GEG is committed to jointly providing local SMEs with opportunities for international professional certification training, helping them explore broader growth opportunities and promoting the stable development of SMEs. He expressed hope for continued collaboration between both parties on more related projects in the future, creating more favorable conditions and diverse opportunities for SME growth.

According to GEG, the program will introduce a new industry training model, which will not only provide theoretical training to participating enterprises but also offer relevant professional advice and guidance based on their business conditions.
