Six SJM restaurants recognized in SCMP 100 Top Tables 2025

  • The restaurants include Robuchon au Dôme, The Eight, The Kitchen, Palace Garden, Mesa by José Avillez and Don Alfonso 1890.

Six SJM restaurants have earned coveted spots in the 100 Top Tables 2025 restaurant guide by the South China Morning Post (SCMP).

These include the renowned Robuchon au Dôme and The Eight, honored for 13 consecutive years, along with The Kitchen at Grand Lisboa Macau. Also included are Palace Garden, Mesa by José Avillez and the newly listed Don Alfonso 1890 at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau.

Robuchon au Dôme offers guests traditional haute French cuisine and is regarded as one of the finest restaurants in Asia. The Eight specializes in exquisite dim sum and luxurious Cantonese cuisine, offering an elegant, creatively inspired dining experience. The Kitchen is a steakhouse that blends tradition and innovation, presenting the finest beef and seafood from around the world.

Palace Garden celebrates the splendor of an imperial garden and honors elegant Chinese aesthetics. Led by a head chef who is a disciple of traditional Taishi cuisine, the restaurant presents a series of Cantonese delicacies, inviting guests on a unique culinary journey. Mesa by José Avillez reinterprets contemporary Portuguese cuisine while Don Alfonso 1890 is a counterpart of an Italian MICHELIN-starred, family-owned restaurant, with every dish crafted with a farm-to-table approach using seasonal ingredients.
