  • GEG hopes this initiative can bring more diverse sports programs to Macau’s schools, stimulating the new generation’s interest in sports.

To nurture the next generation of professional golf talent in Macau, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) is title-sponsoring and co-hosting the “Galaxy Entertainment Group Presents: PGA Tour Dreams, Macau” with the Macau Professional Golfers Association (MPGA).

Certified coaches from the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) are providing 140 professional training sessions to a total of 200 students and teachers from Escola Oficial de Seac Pai Van and the Macau Anglican College throughout the year. The program introduces golf to campuses in a lively, engaging format.

Recently, the first training session at Escola Oficial de Seac Pai Van was held. Ms Annie Loi, Assistant Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility of Public Relations of GEG; Mr Geoffrey Sou, the MPGA representative and PGA certified coach; and other distinguished guests, together with Wavey, the Peacock of Galaxy Kidz, attended the course and engaged with participating students and teachers. As co-organizer and title sponsor, GEG aims to diversify sports options in Macau schools, spark interest in golf among young people and support the city’s sports development.

The program seeks to teach students basic golf techniques while fostering sportsmanship and teamwork skills through professional coaching. GEG has long been committed to supporting Macau’s youth development.

This program not only gives students a chance to experience golf but also aims to inject fresh energy into the local sports talent pool, helping Macau build a more competitive sports landscape.

The program received enthusiastic responses for its enriching and enjoyable approach. It not only diversifies campus sports activities but also opens a window for young people to explore golf.

At the event, Sou thanked GEG for its support in title-sponsoring and co-organizing the program and said MPGA looks forward to working alongside GEG to cultivate Macau’s young sports talents.
