The France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) hosted its 2025 Charity Gala Dinner, themed “Voyage on the Seine”, on 19 September at MGM Macau. The event welcomed 300 distinguished guests from Macau, Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area, celebrating French culture and supporting meaningful causes.
A highlight of the Gala Dinner was the announcement of winners of the Macau ESG Awards 2025, recognizing outstanding achievements by enterprises and institutions for their contributions in Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG).
RecyCard won “Best Project” for transforming casino waste into recycled pulp and advancing Macau’s circular economy; JC Human Resources Consulting won “Best SME” for integrating ESG principles into workplace policies and community initiatives; and the Society of Food & Environmental Health (Macao) won “Best NGO” for impactful volunteer-driven programs in food safety and environmental health.

The event raised MOP 61,800 for the “FMCC Hengqin-Macau Inclusive Fun Day”, a cross-border initiative promoting neurodiversity inclusion in partnership with Macau Special Olympics and Zhuhai Autism Society. The initiative brings together families from Zhuhai and Macau for a day of music therapy, adaptive sports and activities designed to promote inclusion.
FMCC Chairman Rutger Verschuren said, “FMCC continues to play its role as a bridge between France, Macau and the Greater Bay Area -strengthening business, supporting SMEs and giving back to the community.”
“The Gala Dinner is not only a celebration of French culture, it is also a showcase of the connections between commerce and community -bringing people together, creating opportunities and supporting causes that matter to Macau’s future.”
