In alignment with the Macao SAR Government’s “Talent Builds Macau” initiative and the “1+4” moderate diversification development strategy, the company continues to invest in talent development.

As the integrated tourism and leisure sector increasingly converges with conventions and exhibitions, cultural and creative industries, traditional Chinese medicine, as well as technological innovation, SJM said it pledges to enhance its training framework to offer employees broader development opportunities.

With the support of the Labour Affairs Bureau, SJM has launched a series of innovative training programs over the past year, offering diversified learning platforms for local participants from frontline positions to management levels. Through hands-on experience in real operational environments, participants have been able to transform their knowledge into professional competencies. In 2025, more than 17,000 employees had successfully completed professional courses.

These training initiatives include the “SJM ‘Level Up’ Culinary Career Development Programme”, the “SJM Excellence in Tourism Service Ambassador Programme” and the “Career Forward Internship Programme”.

SJM also independently offers programs such as the “SJM Career New Start – Career Development Programme”, which helps gaming-related employees explore non-gaming career pathways, and the “SJM Management Trainee Programme”. In addition, SJM co-organized the SJM “Forge My Own Journey” Development Programme with the Macao University of Tourism.
