Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) actively supports the Macao SAR Government’s talent development policies by continuously building a multifaceted career development platform for its team members. Recently, GEG’s Training & Development (T&D) department was named “Team of the Year – Hospitality & Leisure” at the Hong Kong Business Management Excellence Awards 2026, making GEG the only winner in the category and in Macau.
This recognition follows GEG’s two leading brand awards received earlier this year at the 5th National Human Resources Innovation Competition, marking another affirmation of the Group’s achievements in talent development. It also reflects GEG’s sustained progress in strengthening its training framework, broadening career pathways and enhancing team members’ overall competitiveness.

The award ceremony was held in Hong Kong, where Bill Lu, Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration of GEG, attended and accepted the honor on the company’s behalf. GEG noted that it provides comprehensive growth opportunities for team members through structured induction training, systematic service concept courses and cross-departmental development platforms. At the same time, GEG actively promotes continuous education and encourages team members to pursue professional qualifications through courses such as the Forbes hospitality training.
In the 5th National Human Resources Innovation Competition, GEG received “Best Talent Development Brand – Leading Brand” for its diversified and innovative talent training program and “Best Innovative HR Innovation practice – Leading Brand” for the “Experience Macao with GEG – Nurturing Talents through Cultural and Tourism Excellence” case study.
GEG, which delivered over 1 million training hours last year to empower its team members, said it will continue to advance professional training and cross-disciplinary talent development, helping cultivate more industry professionals for the integrated tourism and leisure sector and contributing to Macau’s vision of becoming a “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure.”
