The Rui Cunha Foundation is bridging art and community, with its latest offering, titled “Leisurely Strokes – Joint Art Exhibition,” featuring 54 oil paintings and painted ceramics. The works showcase a wide variety of styles and themes, vividly capturing the unique charm and vibrant vitality of community art.

Jointly organized with the Association for the Promotion of the Diversity of In Sang Artistic Expressions of Macau, the opening ceremony was held on 25 August at the Rui Cunha Foundation Gallery. Guests from all walks of life were invited to participate in this special event and appreciate the distinctive beauty of folk art.
The Rui Cunha Foundation exhibits this special collaborative diaspora as a further exploration of the potential of community arts, enhancing cultural and artistic literacy and enriching Macau’s cultural atmosphere.

The exhibitors on display come from significantly diverse backgrounds and age groups – including business professionals, teachers and students. In their spare time, these dedicated artists have gathered in studios to learn and create, now showcasing their passion and profound emotional connection to their mediums.
The event was kicked off with the strong support of cultural arts enthusiasts, who gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and the exhibition’s formal unveiling.
The exhibition runs from 25 August to 5 September and is free for the public to visit.
