After a massively destructive mudslide in the Xizang Autonomous Region, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) announced that, with the assistance of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, GEG and Lui Che Woo Family Charitable Foundation will jointly donate MOP10 million.

The donation will be used exclusively to support local emergency search and rescue operations, relief supplies, temporary resettlement of affected residents and medical assistance, as well as reconstruction and recovery efforts to rebuild homes.

Francis Lui, Chairman of GEG, expressed his deep concern for those affected by the tragedy, noting, “We are deeply saddened by the devastating mudslide in Gyirong County, Xigaze, Xizang Autonomous Region, and extend our sincere sympathies to the affected residents. We also express our highest respect and gratitude to all frontline rescue personnel for their dedication and tireless efforts. In the face of this tragedy, people from all walks of life have come together swiftly to offer support, reflecting the Chinese nation’s enduring spirit of solidarity, mutual assistance, and unity in times of adversity.
