• The 4th “MGM Financial Education School Tour” officially kicked off
• Utilizing an interactive drama format to enter school campuses, the event aims to integrate financial knowledge into daily life

Organized by MGM, guided by the Education and Youth Development Bureau (DSEDJ) and co-organized by the Macau Responsible Gaming Education Association, the kick-off ceremony and public premiere of the 4th “MGM Financial Education School Tour 2026” was held at the MGM Cotai Ballroom on 5 September.

Utilizing an interactive drama format to enter school campuses, the tour aims to integrate financial knowledge into daily life and inspire students to establish correct values. Over the past three years, the “MGM Financial Education School Tour” has accumulated nearly 70 performances in local primary and secondary schools, reaching over 12,000 students.

Now entering its fourth year, MGM’s financial education school tour has developed into a project deeply supported by the academic community.

This year’s tour will continue to use the interactive drama format, focusing on phenomena such as blind box consumption, game top-ups, trend-following purchases of fashionable products and excessive hoarding of goods. It guides students to distinguish between “wants” and “needs,” cultivating rational consumption, prudent planning and the good habit of making proper use of resources, allowing financial education and moral character to develop side by side.

Speaking about the initiative, Kevin Lei, Senior Vice President of Operations & Analytics at MGM, stated that MGM has always attached great importance to the holistic development of youth. By designing educational promotional activities tailored for different age groups – extending from school campuses into the community – MGM aims to integrate healthy financial concepts into daily life through innovative approaches.
