• The France Macau Chamber of Commerce gala dinner will be themed around the “Cannes Film Festival” and held at MGM Macau.

The France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) has announced that its 2026 Annual Charity Gala, themed “Cannes: Le Festival”, will take place on 30 October at MGM Macau.

The FMCC shared details of the event at a press conference held on Monday, 21 September. Drawing inspiration from the glamor of the Cannes Film Festival, the gala echoes the international spirit shared by France and Macau and underscores the Chamber’s role as a key Sino-French exchange platform.

The program will open with a cocktail reception accompanied by classical music, followed by local band “The Royals” and lead singer Jandira, delivering an exciting performance blending jazz, pop and dance.

The FMCC expects the evening to bring together over 300 business and community leaders from Macau and the Greater Bay Area. As in previous years, the gala will also host the Macau ESG Awards. Now in its 4th edition, the awards will recognize outstanding sustainable development initiatives across three categories: Best Project, Best SME and Best NGO.

Funds raised this year will support the Macau Deaf Association’s (MDA) “Monday Sign Language Channel” project, aiming to raise public awareness of the hearing-impaired community and provide deaf youths with opportunities to serve as program hosts and showcase their talents.

Beyond commercial and cultural exchange, we want our members to engage with the real Macau. Our partnership with the Macau Deaf Association reflects that: through the “Monday Sign Language Channel,” we hope to broaden how the community understands and includes those with hearing impairments.”
