Macau Fashion Hall Digital Fashion Show

The Cultural Affairs Bureau (ICM) and the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM) have joined forces to hold a forward-looking clothing exhibition entitled “Beyond the boundaries between virtual and reality – Greater Bay Area (GBA) Fashion and Clothing Exhibition”. The exhibition integrates digital technology, art, fashion and other elements to show the public new ideas in digital fashion.

Several fashion designers from the GBA were invited to participate in the exhibition. Through 3D printing and AR virtual experience technologies, eight sets of carefully crafted fashion design costumes were offered to the public for display. The exhibition also provides an immersive experience, allowing the audience to experience the creativity of combining virtual fashion elements with physical clothing. Visitors can scan the QR code in the exhibition hall to appreciate the fashion works from multiple angles with new visual effects.

CPTTM emphasized that the show is not only a clothing exhibition, but even more importantly strengthens and deepens cooperation for the fashion industry in the GBA, stating, “Representatives of the industry gathered at the fashion gallery to watch the exhibition and exchange views on the integration of resources in the fashion industry in the GBA and the promotion of the upgrading of the cultural and creative industries.”

The successful execution of the exhibition reflects the continuous progress and innovation of the fashion industry, and also brings new development opportunities for the fashion industry in the GBA.

The exhibition runs until May 28.
