2023 Q2: Welcome to our second edition

Welcome to the second quarterly edition of Macau CSR. Having spent nearly two years developing the Macau CSR brand, it was tremendously rewarding to hold the first quarterly publication in our hands – but we haven’t stopped working hard to keep growing this important new brand covering Macau’s CSR and economic diversification efforts, and it’s great to now have two quarters under our belt.

Since Macau eased most remaining border restrictions in January, we’ve seen an exhaustive series of initiatives launched by various businesses, government entities, associations and charitable organizations with the combined goal of contributing to Macau’s positive development. From a tourism perspective, we’ve certainly noticed the return of many high-profile live concerts and shows which are proving enormously popular with locals and visitors alike, while many of Macau’s largest companies have also announced plans to bring international sporting events to the SAR later this year. With this kind of diversified activity, Macau will soon be a major feature on the global map, if it isn’t already!

Macau CSR has also continued to work with many different organizations and provide valuable coverage of their inspirational CSR initiatives. We have now formed strategic partnerships with several non-profit and charity organizations including Caritas Macau, the France Macau Chamber of Commerce, the Macao Community Youth Volunteers Development Association, Orbis Macau, the Rui Cunha Foundation and Taipa Village Cultural Association. We look forward to announcing more strategic partnerships soon.

As the first truly independent media brand covering CSR and economic diversification in Macau, we are proud to continue supporting the CSR efforts of companies and organizations from all walks of life and you can expect much more to come on all things Macau CSR over the coming months and years.
