In response to the International Day for the Elderly and to encourage senior residents to participate in more community activities, Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) sponsored the “Respect and Love the Elderly and Celebration of the Elders Day – 2023 Happy Half-Day Tour”, organized by the General Union of Neighborhood Associations of Macau (UGAMM) and co-organized by the Holy House of Mercy of Macau, and received a group of 80 senior citizens to visit Galaxy Macau and Broadway Macau on 31 August.

Accompanied by 15 members of the GEG Volunteer Team, the group first visited the Outdoor Lawn near the Diamond Lobby of Galaxy Macau for the world’s first and tallest MY FIRST BE@RBRICK BABY 10000% inflatable art installation, an exhibit of the BE@RBRICK MACAU – the World’s First Immersive BE@RBRICK Art Exhibition.

The group then visited the Diamond Lobby of Galaxy Macau, where they watched the Galaxy Macau Diamond Show and met with Wavey the peacock of Galaxy Kidz. As well, they visited the Grand Resort Deck, watched the Crystal Lobby Show at the Crystal Lobby, and enjoyed afternoon tea at the Broadway Food Street. At the end of the event, the GEG Volunteer Team sent gifts to the elderly in a warm and pleasant atmosphere.

By supporting the event as sponsor, GEG hopes to encourage the elderly to participate in community activities, to enhance communication between the elderly and the community, and to boost the society’s focus on the physical and mental health of the elderly, as well as their rights and interests.
