Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has been proactively providing support to Caritas Macau, one of the social service organizations in Macau, by donating funds to support its community services for the 16th consecutive year and organizing volunteer teams to participant in many of Caritas’ charitable events.

At the 54th Caritas Macau Charity Bazaar which was held over the weekend, Mr Buddy Lam, Executive Vice President of Corporate Office of GEG, presented a MOP200,000 cheque to Mr Paul Pun, Executive Director of Caritas. Furthermore, in support of the Charity Bazaar for the 14th consecutive year, GEG also set up three game booths and arranged nearly 50 volunteers to participate. All funds raised at the game booths were donated to Caritas in support of its charity work for disadvantaged groups in Macau.

In addition to the Charity Bazaar, GEG also participated in various activities organized by Caritas, including arranging GEG Staff Social Club’s Basketball Team to take part in the “Caritas 3×3 Basketball Competition” held on 8 October, with the Galaxy team winning the championship. GEG also arranged nearly 40 team members to participate in the Charity Run campaign held on 29 October.

Galaxy’s participation in Caritas’ charity sports activities is another example of GEG not only backing philanthropic initiatives, but also supporting sports initiatives in Macau.
