"Super Trio" Chinese New Year’s Eve countdown event at Broadway Macau

GEG organizes series of CNY activities including bringing Eric Tsang’s “Super Trio” to Macau for new year countdown

The Macau SAR government organized many large-scale activities to celebrate the Chinese lunar new year. As one of the important integrated resort operators in Macau, Galaxy Entertainment Group also brought a series of festive activities and performances, the most eye-catching of which was the invitation of Hong Kong’s Mr Eric Tsang Chi Wai, well-known for his famous “Super Trio” TV series, who performed at Broadway Macau on Chinese New Year’s Eve. The countdown evening welcomed in the Chinese New Year with both tourists and the general public of Macau. The show was broadcasted live on Hong Kong TV and online channels, including TVB Jade.

On the evening Mr Tsang combined with three team members from the TV show and nearly 30 other famous actors and singers from Hong Kong to hit the stage at Broadway Macau, having a great time with the audiences comprised of thousands of people, playing well-known games from his time on television. In addition to bringing joy to the audience, there were also rich prize giveaways and a countdown to the New Year.

As well as “Super Trio,” Galaxy Entertainment Group also participated in the SAR government’s large-scale Chinese New Year activities “Strolling on Almeida Ribeiro (San Ma Lo)” and the CNY celebration parade.

On the first day of the Chinese New Year (January 22) and the third day (January 24), GEG arranged the “God of Fortune” to join the event “Strolling on Almeida Ribeiro”, sending Chinese New Year blessings to local residents and tourists alike in San Ma Lo.

GEG continues to support the large-scale Chinese New Year event in Macau known as the Chinese New Year celebration parade. For this year parade, GEG sent out exquisite floats with the theme of lucky rabbits and little rabbit “elves,” wishing prosperity to all industries and people of Macau.

Apart from sponsoring a number of lucky draw prizes and fortune bags, GEG also presented eye-catching performances where a group of professional dancers led a children’s dance troupe for a dynamic and upbeat dance performance.
