To encourage Macau enterprises to explore the East China market and develop economic diversification, the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute organized 28 Macau enterprises to hold a large-scale “Macao Week in Shandong • Qingdao” roadshow event in Qingdao.
The road show is being held at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Centre from 8 to 12 June. It is hosted by the Macau Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) under the theme of “MinM — Made in Macau, Macau Brands, and products from Portuguese-speaking Countries” and showcases products that are made and designed in Macau as well as products produced in Portuguese-speaking countries.
IPIM expects the exhibition will not only showcase the products of Portuguese-speaking countries, but also strengthen the promotion of the “M-Mark” product quality certification program. It will exhibit high-quality local brands such as “Made in Macau” and “Macau Design” to citizens and merchants in the region.
The “M-Mark” product quality certification is a certification program for local enterprises in Macau aiming to increase the quality and the competitiveness of local products and services. It is jointly promoted by the Industrial Association of Macau and the Macau Productivity and Technology Transfer Center (CPTTM).
