As part of GEG National Education Series, which helps team members deepen their understanding of the spirit of patriotism, Galaxy Entertainment Group sponsored and supported Grand Thought Think Tank in organising a tour on 15 July to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China – “Guangzhou Red Tour”.

The tour comprised of 29 people, including members of Grand Thought Think Tank and GEG team members. Staff from the Research Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government, which provided support and guidance in making the event a reality, also joined. The tour was led by Chui Sai Kin, Vice President of Grand Thought Think Tank together with Christina Sin, GEG’s Assistant Vice President of Public Relations as group leader.

On the day of the event, the team first visited the “Peasant Movement Training Institute” in Guangzhou to learn about the history of the peasant movement. Afterwards, they visited the “The Museum of Site of the 3rd National Congress of the Communist Party of China” and finally the “Yongqing Fang” and the “Cantonese Opera Art Museum” to learn about Lingnan-style garden architecture, Cantonese opera culture and art.

Galaxy Entertainment Group, as a Chinese enterprise in Macau that cares about the motherland, has always supported local associations in organising activities to promote patriotism. This activity has also successfully helped more people understand the history of the Communist Party of China, allowing team members to learn the spirit of patriotism, understand the inheritance of history and culture, and strengthen the core values of patriotism and love for Macau.
