GEG supported Youth Volunteer Association of Macao responsible gaming activity

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) is committed to promoting responsible gaming to the public. In mid-August, GEG supported the Youth Volunteer Association of Macao (AJVM) in a community education series titled “Avoid Gambling Addiction for Healthy Life”. The aim of the series is to promote the prevention of gambling addiction and to provide related information to parents and children.

The promotional education activity was held at Iao Hon Market Park. As well as game booths and parent-child workshops, the concept of financial management was also popularized to parent-child families in the form of a sketch book, attracting residents to join.

Accompanied by GEG’s volunteer team members and under the guidance of AJVM volunteers, parents and children participated in the game booths, workshops and parent-child sketch book experiences. With this enriching content, participants learned about healthy attitudes toward financial management and the importance of preventing gambling addiction. They also received souvenirs and enjoyed a pleasant time with their families.

As part of its “GEG Responsible Gaming Community Promotion: Community Education Activity 2023”, GEG hopes to promote gambling disorder prevention and responsible gaming knowledge to the public by supporting AJVM’s activity, with the aim of enhancing the community’s understanding of responsible gaming, reducing the impact of gambling disorders on families and society, and strengthening children’s concept of money management through the addition of financial management elements, in order to convey the importance of saving money and using it correctly.
