The grand opening of the “Broadway Food & Craft Festival” was launched by Galaxy Macau last Thursday at Broadway Macau. The Broadway festival will offer more than 50 street stalls, presenting authentic street food and cultural and creative craft, to locals and tourists for 11 days. To further support the participating local small-and-medium-sized enterprises (“SMEs”), Galaxy Entertainment Group (“GEG”) also creates a favorable business environment by waiving the venue rental fees and providing software and hardware assistance, thereby supporting and nurturing the development of SMEs.
The “Broadway Food & Craft Festival” will bring together more than 20 food stalls offering hundreds of different types of delicious street food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to residents and tourists alike. In addition, more than 30 stalls will offer locally designed cultural and creative crafts, as well as numerous special game booths.
The festival also features over 300 lanterns brought together by the Macau Designer Association, offering an immersive light display and revealing the essence of the Mid-Autumn festival with a theme of “reunion is beauty”. At the same time, the festival will see a selection of daily live performances. Performances include local musicians, live band shows, interactive street performers, popular Hong Kong singer Miranda Lee Jia and famous China blogger BLING.
Mr Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer – Macau of GEG said in his speech that “the ‘Broadway Food & Craft Festival’ underlines GEG’s support to SMEs by adopting the ‘Large Businesses Leading Small Businesses’ business model. We hope to offer a wide and varied selection of craft and distinctive dining experiences to locals and travelers.”

The “Broadway Food & Craft Festival” will be held from 28 September to 8 October. It is open to the public free of charge from 2pm to 10pm every day.
