GEG organizes series of Macau Grand Prix-themed CSR activities in November

Through the month of November Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) collaborated with a number of community groups to organize a series of Macau Grand Prix-themed activities, allowing all walks of life to experience the joy of this sports activity.

GEG took the lead in hosting the Red Bull Pit Stop Challenge at Galaxy Macau on November 4, as well as joining hands with the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office, Macao New Chinese Youth Association, and Macau Autism Association to invite parents and children to participate. This provided an opportunity for children to experience a racing simulator, to change the tires of an F1 car using real tools and challenge pit crews’ records.

On Friday 10 Nov, GEG participated in a “One Day Volunteering” event organized by the Youth Volunteers Association of Macao (AJVM). It has been the 10th year this Group supported this activity. Accompanied by volunteers from GEG and AJVM, elderly people living in social housing were invited to visit the Macau Grand Prix Museum, with the aim of raising society’s attention to disadvantaged groups and promoting community exchanges.

On Sunday 12 Nov, GEG also invited more than 70 members of the Lui Che Woo College of the University of Macau, the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office, the Macau Special Olympics and other local social service organizations to enjoy the Macau Grand Prix at Stand A, allowing members of the community to experience the Grand Prix’s passionate atmosphere.

Through this and supporting other various large-scale local events Galaxy Entertainment Group has committed to contributing to Macau’s development as a World Center of Tourism and Leisure.
