MPTDA hosted the Inauguration Ceremony of the First Term Board of Directors and Supervisory Board

Officially established in March this year, Macao Professional Talent Development Association (MPTDA) aims to facilitate interactions among players in different sectors, to enhance professionalism within industry and to contribute to the SAR’s talent development.

The Inauguration Ceremony of the First Term Board of Directors and Supervisory Board was held in early December, gathering nearly 60 guests, including President of the Administrative Committee of the Science and Technology Development Fund Mr Che Weng Keong, Director of the Centre for Macau Studies at the University of Macau Ms Agnes Lam, and member of the Economic Development Council Mr Manuel Wu.

A guest Panel Discussion was held as part of the ceremony. Focusing on talent cultivation and training, academics from Macau, Hong Kong and Mainland China exchanged and discussed topics on the application of science and technology, including opportunities and challenges encountered. The organizer also held an experience workshop on VR Corporate Training, allowing attendees to get hands-on experience with virtual reality in corporate training.

Chairman of the MPTDA Mr Brian Tang said in his speech that the association aims to promote the professional development and local talent cultivation and training industry.

“By cultivating specialists in various industries, we strive to support the long-term talent development of the SAR from every aspect,” he said.
