The event gathered over 150 senior talent development executives and senior professionals from leading companies across the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Japan, South Korea and Singapore, to explore cutting-edge technologies and share best practices.
The summit featured a line-up of international experts who presented and shared their insights. Highlights included Megan Torrance, CEO and founder of TorranceLearning, who spoke about the trends of “Learning Technology in Action” and implementing a strategic roadmap for the Learning Technology ecosystem.
Bob Gerard, Director of Learning Ingenuity at Accenture, shared how his company practices “Work Learn Fusion” and introduced ways to design engaging learning journeys.
Other notable speakers included Mr Victor Zhang, President of Huawei University, who spoke about the institution’s enterprise enablement exploration in the era of AI, while Dr Wei Wang, Senior Director of ATD Global, presented key findings from ATD research reports and shared the latest trends in the field of global learning and development.
Two experts from South Korea – Mr Chan Lee, Professor of Vocational Education and Workforce Development for Seoul National University, and Ms Jae Eun Kim, CEO of Incoaching – explained how behavioral science assessments are crucial in driving digital transformation.
The summit also featured two panel discussions. One session brought together a distinguished panel of guests to explore “Applying Learning Technology and Innovation” in the Asia-Pacific region. The other featured executives from organizations that won last year’s “ATD BEST Award” who shared insights and highlights from their award-winning projects.
Linda Chen, President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Wynn Macau, stated, “This summit presents a unique opportunity for industry professionals to network with one another, learn from the best in the business and shape the future of talent development on a global scale.”
On the opening day of the event, Wynn was honored with the “ATD 2024 Global Champion Award”, recognizing Wynn’s continued advancement of learning and development and its ongoing support of community collaboration and innovation in boosting global talent development.
