  • These international recognitions demonstrate GEG’s dedication to fully supporting the Macau government’s key efforts in exploring overseas customer markets.

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) won four awards at the 2024 IAG Academy IR Awards held in early September in Manila, Philippines, becoming the most awarded Macau integrated resort operator.

Among the accolades, GEG’s Vice Chairman, Francis Lui, was honored with the “Outstanding CEO” award, which recognizes the industry leader who has demonstrated the most innovation, creativity, leadership and original thinking over the past 12 months, thereby adding significant value to their companies.

Additionally, GEG’s flagship property, Galaxy Macau, secured the “Best Integrated Resort” industry award for the second consecutive year and the “Best Overall F&B Offering by an IR”. Furthermore, Raffles at Galaxy Macau, a world-class hotel brand approaching its one-year anniversary, was named “Best Hotel Attached to an IR”.

Over the years, GEG has actively aligned with the policy directions of the Macau SAR Government. Through facilities such as the Galaxy Macau integrated resort, the Galaxy International Convention Center with 40,000 square meters of MICE space, and the Galaxy Arena – Macau’s newest and largest indoor arena – GEG continues to introduce innovative tourism, entertainment and leisure projects, products and experiences. This includes supporting numerous international conferences, entertainment performances, sports and cultural events held in Macau, thereby pragmatically promoting diversified development in the industry and enriching Macau’s positioning as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure.”

Galaxy Macau, named “Best Integrated Resort”, is renowned for providing a one-stop world-class integrated tourism and leisure experience. It currently hosts eight prestigious international hotel brands and offers a diverse range of non-gaming facilities, such as the world’s leading skytop aquatic oasis, the Grand Resort Deck; the Galaxy Promenade shopping center housing top international brands; an award-winning five-star spa; and Galaxy Cinemas equipped with cutting-edge audio-visual technology.  In addition, the resort also offers over 120 dining options – including MICHELIN-starred restaurants and local cuisine – that earned it the “Best Overall F&B Offering by an IR” award, which fully affirms GEG’s efforts in consolidating the city’s reputation as a Creative City of Gastronomy.

As the world’s largest all-suite Raffles, Raffles at Galaxy Macau has been well-received by guests since its opening last year. Being awarded “Best Hotel Attached to an IR” affirms its exceptional hospitality facilities and services.

Capella at Galaxy Macau, set to open in mid-2025, will become the ninth hotel brand within the property, further enriching Macau’s high-end tourism and leisure offerings.

These international recognitions once again demonstrate GEG’s dedication to fully supporting the Macau SAR Government’s key efforts in exploring overseas customer markets, enhancing Macau’s status as an international leisure and tourism destination, and assisting in consolidating Macau’s position as a “World Center of Tourism and Leisure”.
