Wynn launches series of Moutai-themed events

  • Wynn launched a series of multisensory Moutai experiences in September.
  • The events aim to showcase the very best of China’s national liquor.

In September, Wynn introduced a series of Moutai-themed events, including the “Celebrating the Best of Moutai with a Magnificent Feast” tasting menus, which pair China’s finest Moutai with exceptional Chinese dishes, and a limited-time immersive experience at the Moutai Five Senses Discovery Hall.

Moutai, renowned as the “King of Liquor” in China, has earned global acclaim for its unique brewing techniques and exceptional quality. Wynn has opened a limited-time “Moutai Five Senses Discovery Hall” at the Wynn Palace Event Marquee, offering guests a comprehensive exploration of the Moutai brand through five senses: sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. The Hall showcases the history of Moutai and various special edition Moutai bottles, and offers Moutai-infused chocolate tastings. Interactive games also allow participants to win special Moutai souvenirs, enhancing their exploration of Moutai through a fun and multi-sensory experience.

In addition, Wynn Palace’s Chef Tam’s Seasons and Lakeview Palace, and Wynn Macau’s Wing Lei, have offered tailormade “Celebrating the Best of Moutai with a Magnificent Feast” tasting menus, combining exquisite Chinese cuisine with three premium Moutai selections: Kweichow Moutai 1935, Kweichow Moutai Flying Fairy and Kweichow Moutai (Boutique), providing a rich, multi-layered tasting experience.

Wynn Macau’s newly opened restaurant, Drunken Fish, also features a Moutai-themed bar, home to a collection of close to 100 varieties of rare Moutai liquor including the Kweichow Moutai Collectors Association Aged, Kweichow Moutai Flying Fairy Edition Extra Aged, 2018 Kweichow Moutai Wooden Box Boutique, Kweichow Moutai VIP Special and even more rare, limited-edition varieties of Moutai. The bar also offers innovative Moutai-infused cocktails designed by Mark Lloyd, Wynn’s Head Mixologist.
