Melco triumphs in Tatler Best 2025 as Jade Dragon named Macau’s Restaurant of the Year, Morpheus honored for Best Design

Melco Resorts & Entertainment has once again reinforced its status as a leader in luxury hospitality and dining, garnering an impressive 11 accolades in the Tatler Best 2025 Hong Kong and Macau awards. Among these honors, Jade Dragon at City of Dreams received the spotlight as Macau’s “Restaurant of the Year”, while Morpheus was crowned “Best Design” in the hotel category – a testament to Melco’s commitment to redefining world-class experiences in the heart of Macau.

Jade Dragon’s crowning as “Restaurant of the Year” cements its reputation as an epicenter of culinary excellence in Macau. Renowned for its innovative approach to Cantonese cuisine, Jade Dragon continually dazzles guests with artistic presentations, premium ingredients and a refined atmosphere that epitomizes luxury dining. This recognition by Tatler Best underscores the restaurant’s dedication to perfection and its enduring influence on the region’s gastronomic scene. In addition to this top honor, Jade Dragon was also listed among the “Tatler Best 20 Restaurants in Macau”, further validating its iconic status.

No less impressive is the accolade awarded to Morpheus at City of Dreams, which captured the “Best Design” title among Macau’s hotels. Morpheus stands as a global architectural landmark, conceived by the legendary late Zaha Hadid. The hotel’s futuristic facade, daring interiors and integration of art and hospitality set new benchmarks for hotel design in Asia and beyond. This “Best-In-Class” distinction recognizes Morpheus as not only a beacon of innovative architecture but also as an immersive destination that elevates the guest experience to new heights.

Melco’s achievements did not stop there. Alain Ducasse at Morpheus was celebrated for “Best Service” in the Restaurant & Bar Category, while several other Melco venues were honored among “Tatler Best 20 Restaurants in Macau” – including “Yí” and “Pearl Dragon” – demonstrating the company’s diverse culinary prowess.

Additionally, “Lan Bar”, “The Bar at L’Attitude”, “APD (A Perfect Dose)” and “Blind Tiger” were recognized as four of the “Tatler Best 20 Bars in Macau”, confirming Melco’s dominant presence in the city’s vibrant bar scene. Adding to the company’s accolades, “Sushi Kinetsu” and “The Tasting Room” also earned listings in the newly released Tatler Best Hong Kong & Macau 2025 guidebook.

GEG supports Grand Thought Think Tank inauguration ceremony and seminar

On September 12, the swearing-in ceremony for the fourth-term governing bodies of the Grand Thought Think Tank, along with a seminar titled “New Opportunities and Pathways for Macau’s Development under the New Blueprint of the 15th Five-Year Plan”, was held at Banyan Tree Macau.
