Sands China has launched a new community initiative, the Sands Cares x SEN Holistic Development Support Programme, by providing funding to the Bosco Youth Service Network.
The program is dedicated to offering holistic development support for local youth with SEN.
As one of the program’s activities, Sands China and the Bosco Youth Service Network jointly hosted Workplace Inclusion Navigation Day on 21 April. Through site visits and workshops, the event helped SEN youth strengthen their job-seeking skills and workplace adaptability while promoting inclusion.
The program is built on three key pillars: pre-employment training, workplace support and sports training. It includes workplace skills workshops, internship experiences, career planning counselling and regular sports training, with the goal of supporting participants in skills development, mental well-being and physical health.

On the day of the event, participants visited team member back-of-house areas at The Parisian Macao, including the wardrobe operation, team member restaurant and floral room, gaining insight into the daily operations of an integrated resort.
Current employees with SEN also shared their workplace experiences, reflecting Sands China’s corporate culture of diversity and inclusion. A mock interview workshop was held as well, where participants learned interview etiquette and response techniques. The event concluded with participants ascending The Parisian Macao’s Eiffel Tower to take in views of the Cotai Strip.

Dr Wilfred Wong, Executive Vice Chairman of Sands China Ltd, said, “As a member of the Macau community, Sands China upholds the core concept of Sands Cares and leverages our resources to assist local youth with special educational needs in their continued growth, working together to build an inclusive community.”
