Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) recently joined hands with Macau’s Judiciary Police (PJ) to host an anti-scam promotional campaign, promoting anti-scam messages to team members and the general public through video screenings, themed seminars and roadshows, raising public awareness of online fraud and telecommunications scams.

As part of the initiative, both parties held the “Care for Yourself: Outsmarting Telecommunications Scams Seminar” and the premiere of an anti-scam promotional video at Galaxy Cinemas in Galaxy Macau, with the event graced by Mr. Sou Sio Keong, Deputy Director of the PJ.

The campaign began with the screening of the latest anti-scam promotional video jointly produced by the PJ and GEG. GEG team members also took part in the filming, and the video will be shown in back-of-house areas across GEG properties, as well as before movie screenings at Galaxy Cinemas.

Representatives from the Anti-Fraud Coordination Center of the PJ also delivered an expert briefing to more than 100 team members, introducing recent common fraud tactics, crime trends and preventive measures, and helping participants strengthen their ability to identify and respond to scams.

In addition, GEG and the PJ jointly staged a two-day Anti-Scam Roadshow in the back-of-house areas of Galaxy Macau and StarWorld Hotel. Featuring lucky draw quiz games, interactive information booths and a newly introduced AI deepfake interactive experience zone, the roadshow helped team members further deepen their understanding of emerging scam tactics. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from over 1,000 team members.
