• MMA Organizes “Human Resources Management Study Tour” to Dongguan for exchange and field visits.

In order to strengthen local human resources practitioners’ understanding of the development of high-tech industries and promote the exchange of corporate management experience among enterprises in the Greater Bay Area, the Human Resources Professionals Club (HR Club), under the Macau Management Association (MMA), recently organized a “Human Resources Management Study Tour” to Huawei’s Songshan Lake R&D Campus in Dongguan.

The delegation was led by Mr Benjamin Hong – Vice-Chairman of the MMA HR Club and Head of Delegation, accompanied by Mr Keegan Cheang – Council Vice-Chairman and Honorary Treasurer of MMA, and Ms Zoe Lau – Acting Assistant Secretary General of MMA, and brought together around 30 representatives from major local corporations.

The delegation received a warm welcome from Huawei’s expert representatives, who guided the group through several landmark facilities within the Songshan Lake R&D Campus, including the Descartes Exhibition Hall, Xiliu Beipo Village and Sanyapo Library.

Following the campus tour, both parties held a discussion session on human resources management, engaging in in-depth exchanges on topics such as talent development, HR operations in smart campuses and corporate culture building. Participants expressed that the visit deepened their understanding of the operational and management models of high-tech industries in the Greater Bay Area, effectively broadening their industry perspectives.

Going forward, the MMA will continue to uphold its mission of promoting corporate management and professional development in Macau, organizing more exchange visits and study tours to foster deeper cooperation between Macau and the Greater Bay Area in corporate management and talent cultivation, ultimately promoting the development of human resources management in Macau.
