The graduation ceremony of the “Youth Leadership Public Speaking Training Program 2026” – organized by the Macau Speech Professionals Association and sponsored by the Macao Foundation – was recently held. It highlighted participants’ transformation after 30 hours of intensive training, bolstering efforts to develop youth professional skills and support SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) digital transformation in Macau.

Focusing on AI and new media, the practical training camp used a “70% hands-on practice + 20% AI tools + 10% theory” approach to turn beginners into “enterprise digitalization consultants.” The curriculum addressed local businesses’ marketing and operational challenges. Through systematic learning and site visits, participants delivered practical solutions, creating a win-win for youth and SMEs.
Maggie Chan, President of the Macau Speech Professionals Association, noted the program’s success was thanks to support from enterprises and the community. Participants from diverse backgrounds – sales consultants, freelancers, students and professionals – gained knowledge while applying digital technologies to boost Macau’s real economy.

At the ceremony, graduates received professional certificates, confirming their ability to diagnose SME marketing issues and provide solutions. The association indicated that it will continue partnering with all sectors to deliver high-quality practical training, nurture leaders and speaking talent, enhance skills, promote employment and revitalize communities, injecting lasting momentum into Macau’s social innovation and talent development.
