GEG Launches “Family Cares Summer Program” at Galaxy Macau

  • GEG held the “GEG Family Cares Summer Program,” inviting about 300 employees and their children to enjoy a day together at Galaxy Macau integrated resort.
  • Activities included a career experience at Galaxy Cinemas, dessert-making and arts-and-crafts workshops, and exploration of family-friendly recreational facilities.

Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) continued to promote a family-friendly workplace through a wide range of initiatives. This summer, GEG launched the “GEG Family Cares Summer Program,” which invited team members and their children to Galaxy Macau integrated resort. The program drew about 300 participants.

A variety of parent–child activities were offered, including a hands-on career experience at Galaxy Cinemas, dessert-making and arts-and-crafts workshops, and exploration of family-friendly recreational facilities. The “Become a Movie Theater Star for a Day” session at Galaxy Cinemas enabled children to wear team member badges and try ticketing, food & beverage service and ushering duties under staff guidance, while an accompanying film screening gave them perspective as both operators and guests.

At Hotel Okura Macau, pastry chefs from Galaxy Macau’s Central Kitchen led the “Create Your Own Chocolate Masterpiece” workshop, where parents and children collaborated to design and make personalized chocolates, combining creative bonding with insights into professional pastry techniques. GEG also invited team members and their families to visit the Galaxy Kidz Edutainment Center and enjoy its wide range of recreational interactive facilities, and families participated in hands-on workshops to craft Macau-inspired Portuguese tile coasters and hand-painted non-woven bags—activities that fused local cultural elements with creative parent–child engagement.

Beyond the summer program, GEG continues to support employees’ physical and mental well-being through its Staff Social Club and ongoing parent–child initiatives. These include the “Nurturing Future Together” initiative in partnership with the Education and Youth Development Bureau, parenting seminars, the “GEG Parent–Child Volunteering Experience Scheme”, and an Employee Assistance Program offered with the Sheng Kung Hui Macau Social Services Coordination Office.
