Oxfam has announced that the “Oxfam TowerRun 2026” will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026, at the Macau Tower. Returning for its 13th edition under the theme “YOU FUND I RUN,” the event encourages the public to challenge themselves through sports while supporting Oxfam’s poverty alleviation and development projects.

At a press conference for the event, Oxfam welcomed event ambassadors and several athletes shared their experiences and called on the public to actively register. As the only internationally recognized tower running event in the city – officially accredited as a 120-point event by both the Towerrunning World Association and the Asia-Pacific Vertical Marathon Association – it attracts runners from both Macau and around the world. This year’s event features the individual full run, half run, team relay and leader challenge categories, with the organizer providing accommodation and transportation discounts for non-local participants. Registration closes on October 23, 2026.

Henry Tang Chi Fai, Director General of Oxfam, noted, “Funds raised from this year’s Oxfam TowerRun will support Oxfam’s poverty alleviation and development projects, including improving the education and physical and mental health development of left-behind children in mainland China. Through the involvement of all sectors of society, we hope to create a better environment for these children to grow, offering them greater care and development opportunities.”
